Jobs and Trends
AI, ML, AR, VR, IoT, 5G, and BTC are acronyms that are on the rise. They stand for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, 5th Generation, and Bitcoin respectively. Let's dive into each of them.
AI & ML
AI is the fancy word for ML! There is a saying that if it's written in python, it's ML and if it's written in PowerPoint it's AI! In other words, people use AI when they want to show off and use ML when they want to do something.
Machine learning is coding machines in a way that they can go find the data and learn things themselves. There are many types of machine learning. supervised and unsupervised machine learning is distinguished by the need to explicitly teach machines what to learn and how to do it. If we do that, then it's supervised. If we don't teach it and the machine goes and figures it out itself, then it's unsupervised.
AR & VR
Augmented reality is when you augment reality with something, and virtual reality is when you introduce a new reality. both of these technologies are gaining momentum. Google cardboard has brought the VR experience to many people around the world at a low cost. Many high-tech companies around the world are working to make the VR experience more immersive and more real.
IoT
They say in the future everything will be smart and connected. Clothes that you wear, walls in the house, washing machine, toaster, mirrors, basins, lamps, fridge, and everything else will be smart and connected.
5G
Imagine your gaming device doesn't need a graphic card. Why? Because its internet connection is so fast and its latency is so low that you can get your whole screen content from the internet in real-time and send your instructions in real-time so all processing happens in the cloud.
BTC
For transferring value. Not the native chain but its tokenized form on some other chain with lower fees, more transactions per second and more options. EOS, Tron, Ethereum 2.0, Zilliqa, Near, and Matic seem to be candidates.
